“After a review of the current status of scheduled domestic operations, i.e. passenger demand for air travel… it has been decided to resume scheduled domestic air operations without any capacity restrictions with effect from October 18, 2021,” the government said in an official statement. said in the notification.
The circular said, “The airlines/airport operators shall, however, ensure that the guidelines to contain the spread of COVID are strictly adhered to and appropriate COVID treatment is strictly enforced by them during travel. ”

Domestic flights were allowed to resume at one-third of pre-Covid levels from May 25, 2020. Since then the capacity deployment has changed depending on the COVID conditions.
Restrictions will be eased from next week and domestic flights can operate at full capacity.
