Bollywood Actors Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are all set to share the screen for the first time. Earlier, there were unconfirmed reports that the two will be seen together in Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama, which is said to be a unique blend of mythology and superhero genre. However, Ashwatthama has reportedly been put on hold indefinitely due to the rising budget.

Now, as per the latest reports, director Laxman Utekar (Mimi and Luka Chuppi) has roped in Vicky and Sara for his next rom-com. Both Laxman’s films were supported by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The production house will also support his next film with Vicky and Sara. This will be Sara’s second film with Dinesh Vijan after Love Aaj Kal, which was opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Reportedly, the film is a part of life, but it has a fun, social twist. The script of the film was locked a few months back. It will reportedly go on floors on November 15th later this year.
Meanwhile, Vicky is all set to be seen in the OTT release Sardar Udham, directed by Shoojit Sircar. Chronicling the lesser-known story of the great Indian revolutionary, Sardar Udham Singh, the film delves into the depths of his immense courage to avenge the deaths of his countrymen in an event that shook the British Empire. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on 16 October.
Meanwhile, Sara will be seen in Atrangi Re opposite Dhanush. It also stars Akshay Kumar in a cameo role. Despite the reopening of theaters in Maharashtra, there are speculations that Atrangi Re may release on OTT.

However, the reports have not been confirmed. If that happens, it will be Sara’s next digital-first release after Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan.
