Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is Nivin Pauly’s third Tamil film.

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has received appreciation from fans for his outstanding performances in films like Da Thadiya, 1983 and others. He is now gearing up for his upcoming film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai with director Ram. The Tamil-Malayalam bilingual is nearing its release and as per reports the dubbing work is almost complete.
Nivin shared a glimpse of the dubbing work on Facebook. Fans were surprised that despite being of Malayalam origin, the actor was fluent in Tamil. Actors Anjali and Suri were also seen in Nivin’s video and have also completed their dubbing for the film.
Soori’s followers were also left in awe of his expression. A fan commented that it is difficult to stick to your character like Soori. Others commented showing their love for the film with fire and heart emoticons. The video has got 22,000 views.
The story of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai revolves around the life of a fisherman. This is Nivin’s third Tamil film after Neram and Richi. Produced by Suresh Kamachi under V House Productions, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The announcement video of the title of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai was unveiled around six months back by V House Productions. The video featured the characters as animated figures and hinted at a love story between Nivin and Anjali’s characters. The video was loved by the viewers and has been viewed over 12 lakh times. The audience liked how director Ram presented the idea of his film to the audience in a unique way. One of the users commented that the story of the film feels like a combination of the KGF franchise and the film Katradhu Thamizh.
Nivin was last seen in Thuramukham directed by Rajeev Ravi. The film is based on the protests organized during the 1950s against the Chappa system prevalent in the Cochin port. Thuramukham received mixed reviews from the audience. The audience said that it could have been a great film if the director had paid attention to the editing. According to the audience, the film was scattered and appeared everywhere.
