He announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the next of kin of each of the victims. He also asked the officials to provide other assistance to the families of both the deceased under various schemes of the State Labor Resources Department and Social Welfare Department.
Nitish also wished for the speedy recovery of Chunchun.
So far, four natives of Bihar have been killed in targeted attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in the past two weeks.

On October 5, Birendra Paswan, a resident of Bhagalpur district of Bihar, was shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar.
