NIS 24m to the families of the Tzafit stream disaster. will be compensated

Three years after the disaster in the Tzafit stream in Israel’s south, where 10 youths died, and after a lengthy mediation process that lasted nearly a year, an agreement was reached on Monday that NIS 24 million in compensation would be paid to the families of the deceased. On 26 April 2018, 12th grade students, all candidates of the Bani Zion Ex-Military Academy, set out on a journey to the Tzafit River in the southern part of the Dead Sea. During the voyage, a severe storm hit the south of Israel, killing nine girls and one boy. Compensation will be paid by the insurance company of Bani Zion Academy.
