IIT Madras has topped the NIRF 2023 overall university ranking. NIRF ranks colleges and universities on the basis of various factors
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has recently been ranked as the best institute in India overall nirf Ranking 2023. Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh released the ‘India Ranking Report for 2023’ at 11 am today. The ranking factors as stated by the official website are – teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.

The NIRF ranking was created in 2015 with the goal of developing nationalized rating factors for higher education establishments of the country. The first NIRF ratings published in 2016 were divided into four groups based mainly on subjects.
