Actress Bhumika Gurung, who made her television debut in Nimki Mukhiya, will soon tie the knot with the man of her dreams, her boyfriend Shekhar Malhotra, a restaurant owner. Their entire house is getting ready for the wedding celebrations.
Bhumika Gurung’s wedding rituals began on March 6 with Shagun’s Haldi and pictures and videos of the event have already surfaced on social media. The bride-to-be looked gorgeous in the Haldi celebrations. She was wearing a spaghetti strap flared kurta with yellow fringed sharara. She accessorised her look with floral-patterned jewelery and maang tika and sported subtle makeup.
In pictures and videos, Bhumika is seen having a lot of fun in the Haldi ceremony. She can also be seen covered with turmeric and flowers and dancing with her friends and relatives.
Bhumika told Telly Chakkar that the wedding will take place in Mumbai and it will be a small and intimate Gurudwara ceremony. The rituals will take place on March 6, and the wedding will take place on March 8, followed by a party.
She also said that she would not be the bride covered in the traditional red or pink, instead she chose an English pastel color for her wedding dress.
In an interaction with ETimes, Bhumika recalled a comical yet engaging episode in which her boyfriend Shekhar proposed to her for marriage.
Shekhar proposed to her on her birthday a year ago, she revealed. She playfully requested that he get down on his knees, which he did, and Bhumika accepted his offer.
