Nikki was earlier taken inside Tihar Jail by a Delhi Police team probing the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar to ‘recreate’ her alleged meeting with the conman. Police said that ever since Chandrasekhar was sent to jail, the jail had become a hub of illegal activities, which he carried out with the help of jail officials.

Chandrashekhar’s close aide Pinky Irani, who was arrested by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in November last year, had introduced him to the swindler.
