Nia Sharma celebrates 10th anniversary of Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai: The show changed my life forever

‘Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna’, which premiered on television on Sunday, completed ten years. Remembering the journey that started it all for the actress Nia Sharma |, the 31-year-old posted an Instagram reel. She posted a reaction video to a clipping of the show in which she was seen with co-star Krystle D’Souza. Nia played the role of Maanvi, while Krystal played the role of her elder sister Jeevika.

Captioning the Instagram reel, Nia wrote, “Intrinsically I will always be human. This show came and changed my life forever. I was practically going back to Delhi to do my post graduation but looks like That this show was my calling, and I will never leave Mumbai again. I shed tears almost every time I hear this song. Will always be in my heart.” The actress also mentioned the show’s producers Sidharth P Malhotra, Sapna Malhotra and said that she can never thank him enough for this opportunity. Referring to her co-stars from the show, Nia wrote, “Kushal Tandon, Krystal, Karan Tacker, Anju Mahendru .. we need a reunion.”

Commenting on the show, Malhotra wrote, “Love my little sister always.” In the following comment, Malhotra also mentioned, “Everyone needs to be there for the reunion and I will organize it.”

It was not just Nia who celebrated the tenth anniversary of the show. Kushal also shared a throwback picture on his Instagram story on Sunday. The actor shared an Instagram post shared by Malhotra on his Insta Stories to mark the tenth anniversary of Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai.

Malhotra had on Sunday shared seven pictures from the sets of Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai on his Instagram handle. The pictures also featured actors Kushal, Tacker, Krystal, Nia and Abhinav Shukla. Malhotra wrote in the caption, “Ten Years of Ehambah, a show made with so much love that it still gets more than ever. Thank you all for the love and warmth for our special series.”

Tacker also shared Malhotra’s Instagram post on his story and wrote, ‘From fond memories of this outdoors to beautiful 2 years. This show was pure hearted. Will always be indebted to fans for the indelible love.”

The show aired on Star Plus from 3 October 2011 to 13 September 2013.
