NIA raids in Bulandshahr in Sidhu Musewala case: Weapons supplied to Lawrence gang from Khurja, bought AK-47 for eight lakhs

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided Khurja in Bulandshahr in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The NIA has taken this action in search of the AK-47 and other arms supplier in the murder of Musewala. From here the NIA has taken a person with it for questioning.

Sidhu Musewala was murdered on 29 May in Punjab. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar have claimed the responsibility of the murder. Lawrence is currently on police remand.

Lawrence took the name of Khurja’s Kurbaan-Imran
According to sources, the main supplier of arms to Lawrence Bishnoi gang is linked to Khurja in Bulandshahr district. In this mainly the names of Qurban Ansari and Imran have come up. Lawrence gang had bought AK-47 from Khurja’s gang for eight lakh rupees, which was kept hidden for some days at a hideout in Ghaziabad.

This gang has supplied more than 100 automatic weapons to Lawrence gang in the last few years.

The team stayed at home for half an hour
The NIA reached the house of Nadeem, son of Kurban Ansari, in Mohalla Chowhatta of Khurja at around 2.30 pm on Saturday. The investigating agency searched the house and after questioning Nadeem took him with them. Being a matter related to the Central Investigation Agency, the officials of Bulandshahr Police are refraining from having any information or comment on it.

Who is Kurban Ansari
Qurban Ansari is an arms supplier. In August 2016, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Qurban and his brother Rehan Ansari, along with 10 foreign pistols worth Rs 1 crore. These weapons were imported from Pakistan. At that time both the brothers used to run a ceramic factory in Khurja, in which electronic switches were made. According to police records, Kurban Ansari died of corona sometime back.
