NIA: NIA arrests 2 from Sopore in terror conspiracy case. India News – Times of India

Srinagar: National Investigation Agency ,NIAArrested two more people from Jammu and Kashmir on Friday sopore For his alleged involvement in a terror conspiracy case. With these arrests, the total number of accused arrested so far in this case has gone up to 27.
The NIA has issued a statement and identified the two arrested as follows Rashid Muzaffar Ghani And Nasir MiroBoth are residents of Sopore.
The case pertains to a conspiracy to launch terrorist attacks by cadres of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizb-ul-Taiba in Jammu and Kashmir and other major cities of the country including New Delhi. Mujahideen, al badri and other similar terror outfits, the statement said.
The NIA had registered a case in this regard on October 10 this year.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the arrested accused are terrorist associates/overground workers of various terrorist organizations and were providing logistical and material assistance to the terrorists, the statement said.
