For the first time in the country, a detailed investigation has been started on the urban network of Naxalites. This investigation is being done by NIA and at present 14 places in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana have been raided for investigation. According to sources, the people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana who had to go for questioning are all well-known people there. In such a situation, even before going there, the NIA had obtained a search warrant from the Jagdalpur court.
The special thing in this case is that no national level agency has conducted such a separate investigation on the urban network of Naxalites before. This is the first time that the investigation is being done against one and only urban network. According to the information received regarding the investigation, the NIA has taken the memorandum statement of the people of Andhra-Telangana, these people have been questioned at their places only and they are not being brought to Jagdalpur for questioning yet.
It is being told that NIA is matching the things written in RK’s diary and the statements of the concerned. Further action will be decided on the basis of the statements. As of now, the NIA has not detained or arrested anyone. However, in this case only a press note has been issued by the NIA in which the names of some cities of Andhra-Telangana have been mentioned and it has been said that raids have been done here.
The network of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Bengal will also be disclosed soon.
The investigation that the NIA has just started against the urban network of Naxalites is based on the diary of Naxalite leader RK. RK had written the names of some people in his diary and mentioned money transactions in front of their names. On the basis of this, the investigation was started, but now as the NIA is going deeper into the matter, new revelations are being made.
According to sources, the investigation of NIA has started from two states but very soon the wires of this investigation will reach many big cities of Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Maharashtra, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Officials of different agencies working against Naxalites say that the level at which the NIA has started the investigation and in the very first time there has been direct interrogation of big people. Looking at him, it seems that this matter is going to go a long way.
Know, this is how NIA reached the city network of Naxalites
On July 28, 2019, six Naxalites were killed in an encounter by security forces personnel in Tiraya area, adjacent to the city limits of Jagdalpur. A villager was also killed during the firing. After the encounter, it was revealed that all the Naxalites killed were members of the Odisha Naxal Committee and all of them were residents of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. The diary of Naxalite RK Raju alias Ramkrishna Har Gopal, who escaped from the encounter, was also caught by the police.
In the diary, there was a mention of giving money to many big people of Andhra-Telangana. Then the investigation was handed over to the NIA. When NIA investigated, many facts were found. Different teams of NIA on Thursday conducted raids at 14 places in 7 districts of Andhra and Telangana namely Hyderabad, Rachakonda, Medak, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Nellore.
How the recovery amount goes to other states, it will also be known
This investigation of NI is expected to reveal the weapons, walkie-talkies and other items supplied to the Naxalites. Apart from this, big disclosures are also to be made in the matter of funding for Naxalites. It is being told that in the investigation of NIA, the focus has been on the funding of Naxalites. How the levy collected by the Naxalites from the people of their area of influence travels from one state to another and how the amount of the levy is used will also be revealed.
