New Delhi: National Highways Authority of India (chewing) has sent a show cause notice on E-5 Infrastructure seeking its reply as to why the company should not be blacklisted and debarred from participating in future bidding. The managing director of an infrastructure firm was arrested last month in Jaipur for the alleged murder of an authority engineer.
Sources said the highway authority had issued the notice last week and set a time limit for the company to send its reply. “We will decide the further course of action after getting their response,” he said. Every step is being taken keeping in mind the legal aspects.
