Amidst the fear of a third wave of Corona, the states have started strict. After Maharashtra, now the new rule is going to be implemented in Punjab for people coming from other states as well. Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has announced new guidelines for entering the state amid the threat of Corona.

The state government has said, ‘Whoever enters Punjab from other states from Monday, it will be mandatory to show the certificate of both doses of corona or negative RTPCR report. Along with this, strict monitoring of those coming from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu will be done, as the corona positivity rate is increasing there.

Let us tell you, earlier the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra had made an announcement in this regard. Under this, it will be necessary for the passengers to show the vaccine certificate before entering Maharashtra. The cases of Delta Plus variant are also increasing rapidly in Maharashtra.

60,000 corona tests will be done every day in the state
In view of the estimate of doubling of cases in the coming 64 days, the Punjab government has ordered to conduct 60 thousand corona tests daily in the state. At present, 45,000 to 49,000 tests are being conducted daily in Punjab. In the state, 82 lakh (40%) people have received the first dose of vaccine and 24 lakh (11%) have received both the doses.

38760 new cases in the country on the last day, 35740 were cured
On Friday, 38,750 new cases of corona infection were registered in the country. During this, 477 people died, while 35,740 infected people defeated the disease. The number of people recovering is the lowest in 21 days. Earlier on July 23, 35,144 people were cured of this disease.
