Realme is hosting a global event for this phone at MWC next week, where we will get to see the charging technology.

Realme has confirmed the launch of the Realme GT3 smartphone on Mobiles. World Congress 2023 (MWC 2023) in Barcelona next week, and we also know that the phone will come with support for 240W charging, a first for the smartphone industry.

Realme has been one of those companies that has been constantly innovating on the charging front, and after showing its prowess with a 150W charging unit, it is now going above the current industry standard of 200W. The Realme GT3 will offer 240W charging and now a teaser video clearly shows us what this means for the battery inside the phone.

The video claims that the Realme GT3 will be charged from 0 to 100 percent in about 9 minutes, for which a 240-watt charging adapter has been given. We can also see that the phone charges from 0 to 50 percent in 4 minutes, and charging the phone for a minute is enough to keep you running at 20 percent. The Realme GT 3 is expected to house a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging.

The first thing you notice about the Realme GT3 is the design and the unique LED ring on the back of the phone, which reminds us of the Realme GT Neo 5 that was recently launched in China.

Many believe that the Realme GT3 will be the global version of this phone and we are eager to see how the details will unfold at the launch event. But if the Realme GT3 is a rebadged model, then Realme could offer it with a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that powers the device, and a primary 50-megapixel sensor. We’ll get into more details about the purpose of the LED ring eventually.

MWC 2023 begins on February 27 and the Realme GT 3 unveiling is slated for February 28, when we will have more updates on the phone and its possible launch in India.
