The huge complex of 14,500 square meters, to be built at a cost of Rs 250 crore, will have two buildings. PDA has started the process of selection of an agency for the construction of office building, hotel on the basis of ‘Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT)’.
“We have invited ‘Expression of Interest’ (EoI) from reputed agencies for the ambitious project, which will be constructed on a piece of land located on Lala Lajpat Rai Road. “Construction of office building and hotel will be conducted on boot basis. The layout will be prepared by Smart Building and green architecture At an estimated cost of Rs 250 crore,” mentions the EOI issued by the PDA.
The site is strategically located on the 80 m wide Lala Lajpat Rai Marg connecting Stanley Road. There is a school within 2 km, railway station within 5 km, airport within 15 km and a hospital and petrol pump within 1 km.
Detailed designs, detailed project reports, etc., are readily available with the PDA, which has employed international architects, transaction consultants and project management consultants for the project.
The project is important to the state and is developing Prayagraj as a hub of heritage tourism and logistics. The first of its kind 5-star hotel complex in the city based on international design will be a landmark of this heritage city.
