Paintings of great women of the country will be made on the walls of the new Parliament House. In these paintings from Sita, Draupadi to Razia Sultan and Ahilya Bai Holkar will be made. An official associated with the project has given this information to ‘Hindustan Times’ on the condition of anonymity.
75 women will be honored on the 75th anniversary of independence
However, nothing has been said from the government about this yet. But recently a painting exhibition of 75 such women was organized at Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts. In view of this, it is being said that now the paintings of these women will be made on the walls of Parliament House. These range from mythology to women who took part in the freedom movement. It is being told that the paintings of great women like Sita, Draupadi, Razia Sultan, Meera Bai, Akka Mahadevi, Ahilya Bai Holkar will adorn the new Parliament.
Information will be given about the contribution of those great women
According to the report of ‘Hindustan Times’, along with the painting on the wall of Parliament, the historical role of those women will also be told. His contribution to the country and society and his learnings are also planned to be engraved on the walls of Parliament. The country’s new parliament building will be ready by October
