Bengali actress-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan, who recently embraced motherhood, has been the talk of the town ever since the birth of her child. Questions were being raised about the child’s father doing the rounds on the internet. But later all the speculations about the paternity of the child were put to rest as the birth registration details of his child were now made public.
According to the Kolkata Municipal Corporation document that went viral on social media, the birth certificate of Nusrat’s child shows the child’s name as Yashan J Dasgupta and father’s name Debashish Dasgupta, which is Yash Dasgupta’s original name.
And now the actress’ latest post reveals that the couple may have tied the knot!
Nushrat took to Instagram handle to share pictures from her alleged partner Yash Dasgupta’s intimate birthday celebrations with a huge cake. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the ‘Husband’ and ‘Dad’ written on the cake.
On her Instagram stories, Nusrat Jahan posted a picture of the birthday cake which referred to Yash Dasgupta as both husband and father. “Happy Birthday,” the cake read. This is the first time she referred to Yash Dasgupta as her “husband”, so is she confirming that the couple is married? The cake also appeared to dispel speculation about the child’s father.
Nusrat welcomed a baby boy on August 26, but managed to keep him away from the limelight. On 30 August 2021, Nusrat Jahan was seen leaving the hospital with her newborn. In a video shared online by a fanclub of the actress, the new mom was seen leaving the hospital with her partner Yash Dasgupta. Yash, on the other hand, was seen holding his newborn baby in his arms. Nusrat can be seen accepting the media with folded hands before going inside the car.
Nusrat Jahan and her estranged husband Nikhil Jain separated in 2020. Earlier this year, Nusrat Jahan had said in a statement that their marriage was not valid under Indian law. Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain had two wedding ceremonies in Bodrum, Turkey in 2019.
