The New Zealand cricket team departed Auckland on Monday, bound for Bangladesh and a 5-match T20 International series in Dhaka.

The 15-man team, captained by Tom Latham, will play a warm-up match ahead of the quick-fire series beginning on September 1.

It is scheduled to conclude on 10 September with all matches to be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The Black Caps then moved to Pakistan for 3 ODIs and five more T20 Internationals in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

New Zealand Cricket has decided to rest several players with commitments in the Indian Premier League, hence the absence of choice Kane Williamsonhandjob Trent Boult and Kyle Jamieson.

2021 IPL The season was suspended in May due to a rise in Covid-19 cases among the franchises, but is set to resume on 19 September.
