Addressing the third convocation of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University in Sikar, Kalraj Mishra said that care has been taken in the policy that students should be proficient in all subjects to some extent.

new national Education Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said on Friday that the policy has been formulated after much deliberation and is aimed at ensuring all-round development of the students.

Addressing the third convocation ceremony of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University in Sikar, the Governor said that care has been taken in the policy that students should be proficient in all subjects to some extent.

He said that the students should make good use of their education for the upliftment of the society and the nation.

The governor said, “Education is a cultural process through which one works to enhance one’s knowledge and skills to become a civilized, cultured and capable citizen.”

He called upon the universities to become centers of education that would create the best citizens for the country.

In his address, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University Vice Chancellor Bhagirath Singh said the institute has started 17 employment-oriented courses.

Gold medals were awarded to 70 students with the best academic performance at the convocation. Degrees were also distributed among the students who passed out in the academic session 2018-19 and 2019-20.
