New Covid restrictions imposed in Maharashtra, schools closed till February 15 top point

The Maharashtra government on Saturday imposed a fresh ban in view of the rising Covid-19 cases in the state. All schools and colleges will remain closed for physical classes till February 15. The decision came a day after the review meeting held on Friday regarding the status of Kovid in the state.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  1. There will be a ban on public gatherings from 11 pm to 5 am and there will be night curfew in the state during these hours.
  2. Schools and colleges will remain closed till February 15 for physical classes.
  3. Salons and private offices will operate at 50% capacity and spas, gyms and swimming pools will remain closed.
  4. Hotel restaurants, cinemas, auditoriums will remain open at 50 percent capacity till 10 pm.
  5. Playgrounds and tourist places will also remain closed. Malls will open at 50 percent capacity
