Google will reportedly release a new Chromecast with Google TV on its Home application. As SamMobile reports, the Google Home app has received a preview update that includes a new dongle.
According to the app preview, the new Chromecast dongle includes a new Google TV device with the codename YTC. It may still be under development and is expected to be a higher end product than the HD version of Chromecast.
Also, the company needs to refresh the current Chromecast which was released in 2020. The device is expected to come with a more powerful chipset than its predecessor.
Apart from this, storage and other features can also improve.
The tech giant is yet to comment on the leaked Chromecast with Google TV.
However, more details about the upcoming dongle are expected in the coming weeks, the report added.
