Gwalior: Police have registered an FIR after the Facebook account of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was hacked in Gwalior.
The DSP of the Crime Branch said, ‘Between July 7-8, some unknown person had hacked his account. His Facebook account was being run by his IT cell, which is being investigated.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s Facebook account was hacked and some old videos and photos were uploaded. However, it is claimed that the hacking was stopped till morning and the data has been recovered.
Rajya Sabha member Jyotiraditya Scindia took oath as a Union minister on Wednesday, after which suddenly around 2 pm people saw several posts from his Facebook account, which included his statements and videos during his stay in Congress.
There was a stir as soon as these pictures and videos were posted. Scindia’s supporter Krishna Ghatge said that Facebook hacking was stopped till morning and all the data was also recovered.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, has been given the important charge of the Civil Aviation Ministry.
Earlier, the independent charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation was with Hardeep Puri. Jyotiraditya Scindia has been included in the Modi cabinet expansion for the first time after he quit the Congress and joined the saffron party and was instrumental in bringing the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government back to power in Madhya Pradesh.
