People all over the world are buzzed about the soon approaching 2024 Summer Olympics that are set to take place in Paris. The more than two-week long sports extravaganza is scheduled from July 26 to August 11. Singer and actor Sabrina Carpenter recently added to the Olympics hype after starring in a promotional about the games. In a hilarious video, Sabrina Carpenter alludes to her hit song Espresso as she lists the names of top athletes who she is excited to watch in action.
In the advertisement, made for NBCUniversal, the Feather hitmaker talks to a chirping bird as she sips an espresso in an open cafe in Paris. “What am I doing in Paris? Isn’t it obvious? The Olympics!” Sabrina Carpenter tells the chirping bird. She then says, “The amazing ceremony on the Seine, Simone’s epic comeback, the USA-Australia rivalry at the pool, and the world’s fastest man and woman Noah and Sha’Carri racing for team USA. I’ve never been more excited for anything in my life.”
The camera then zooms out and we see a pile of espresso cups on Sabrina Carpenter’s table. She seemingly laughs and talks to someone imaginary. A cafe worker then tells the waiter that the singer has had enough espresso for the day.
While sharing this video on Instagram Sabrina Carpenter wrote, “The Olympics! In Paris! Too much espresso! The dream becomes a reality on Friday, July 26.”

He said, “Who better than the star of the summer, Sabrina Carpenter, with her chart-topping single Espresso to get everyone excited about the event of the summer, the Paris Olympics. This is the final spot in our celebrity campaign that has generated unprecedented excitement and buzz for the Olympics.”
Soon after the 2024 Summer Olympics conclude on August 11, Sabrina Carpenter will release her sixth studio album titled, “Short N’ Sweet”. The album is set for release on August 23 by Island Records. The album’s two pre-released singles, Espresso and Please Please Please, have already become big hits.
Espresso peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and became Sabrina Carpenter’s first top 10 single on the chart. Additionally, Please Please Please reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first number-one single on the chart.
