Netizens think Akshay Kumar has copied Bhuvan Bam’s dialogue in ‘Cuttputlli’; Latter reacts – Times of India

Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘Cuttputlli’ was released on Friday on an OTT platform. Directed by Ranjit Tewari, it is a remake of the Tamil film, ‘Ratsasan’. The film has opened to mixed reviews from the audience. Days after its release, netizens have pointed out a connection between the film’s dialogue with comedian Bhuvan Bam.

A lot of users have claimed that Akshay and his team have used Bhuvan’s dialogue in the film. In one of the scenes, Akshay is seen explaining to his niece about relationships and their values. He is heard saying, “First comes God, then the parents, then your siblings, relatives, friends, neighbours and then comes the teacher.”

Rakul, who has essayed the role of a teacher in the film, then replies, “Don’t you have dogs at home? You could put them on the list as well.” Netizens revealed that the dialogue is lifted from Bhuvan Bam’s ‘Angry Masterji’ act. One of the users wrote, “Copy thodi inspiration hai.” Another user wrote, “Lagta hai Akshay Kumar bhi BB ka bada fan hai.”

Bhuvan also shared a screenshot of the scene on his Instagram story and wrote, “Lol”. Have a look:

The film also stars Sargun Mehta and Chandrachur Singh in key roles.

On the work front, Akshay has ‘Selfiee’ with Emraan Hashmi and ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the pipeline.
