A scene from the TV show Tera Mera Saath Rahe has left netizens laughing at a scene from the upcoming Ganpati festival episode to be aired. Gopika (Jiya Manek) and the others in the Modi family prepare to offer modaks to Lord Ganesha and pray for their family when it is revealed that the modaks are actually momos.
Gopika realizes this and runs to confirm it when she inadvertently takes a bite from the offering plate and takes everyone by surprise. Mithila (Rupal Patel) confronts Gopika over this act and fans will be eagerly waiting for what happens next.
The Modak-Momo confusion scene also mentions the show Saath Nibhana Saathiya, for which Roopal and Jiya went viral on social media last year. Reacting to the new video of similar nature, a netizen commented, “Yeh aashi thi rasode mein modak removed and platter momos saj diya saj diya (sic).” Other social media users reacted with a laughing emoji in the comments section.
Star Bharat recently launched the prequel of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, titled Tera Mera Saath Rahe. The show saw the return of the fan favorite Gopi and Kokila as Gopika and Mithila. The daily will take viewers through the journey of a talented but nervous girl Gopika (played by Jiya Manek) and a powerful and independent mentor Mithila (played by Rupal Patel).
Produced by Ved Raj of Shoonya Square Productions, the ensemble cast of the show also includes Mohammed Nazim, Vandana Vithlani, Mili Verma, Nitin Wakharia, Jyoti Mukherjee, Rajkumar, Pooja Kawa, Meenal Karpe, Hitesh Sampat, Maharishi Dave and Sumanti.
