According to downdetector.com, Netflix Inc. was down for thousands of users on Friday. The streaming platform said that it is facing difficulties in streaming across all devices.
There were nearly 4,000 reports on the outage-tracking website DownDetector, which collates status reports from multiple sources in the United States.
“We are working to solve the problem,” Netflix Told.

Some users expressed disappointment on Twitter that the outage spoiled their Friday night plans to binge show.
“Friday night and @netflix is down! How’s your Friday night going?”, tweeted a user.
An outage at Amazon.com’s cloud services unit temporarily shut down Netflix’s services in December. The incident also affected Walt Disney’s Disney+, Robinhood, a wide range of apps and Amazon.com Inc.’s e-commerce website.

On Thursday, social media app Twitter and meta platforms-owned Instagram suffered outages. The micro-blogging site faced a disruption of services for around three hours.
