Candidates can apply for the entrance exam till May 17 at Nestexam.in

The registration for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST 2023) will begin today, February 27. As per the information available on the official exam website, Nestexam.in, eligible candidates can register for the exam till May 17. NEST 2023 exam will be conducted. on June 24, 2023 at multiple centres.

As per the schedule of exam related activities, NEST admit cards will be available to download on June 12. NEST 2023 result will be declared on 10th July.

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted for admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai – Atomic Energy Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS). Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were established by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India India in 2007.

Step 3: Enter the required details in the given link

Step 4: Login using the credentials created for filling the application form

Step 5: Enter the required details in NEST 2023 Application Form and upload the required documents

Step 6: Submit NEST 2023 Application Fee and Click on Final Submission

As per NEST 2023 eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed class 12 exam in 2021 or 2022 or must be appearing in 2023. Candidates must have secured 60 percent marks or equivalent marks in aggregate in class 12 examination from any recognized board. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates and Divyangjan candidates, however, will have to obtain a minimum of 55 per cent marks.

The exam-conducting authority has announced a change in the policy for declaring NEST result. Now, the NEST 2023 merit list for both NISER and CEBS institutes will be prepared considering the candidates’ scores in best three subjects out of total four. It was different at NEST 2022. Last year, the scores of all the four subjects were considered for preparing the NISER merit list.
