Kathmandu: Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel was taken to hospital after he reportedly fainted on Tuesday. According to sources, he is currently at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital-Maharajganj under the supervision of doctors.
Speaking to news agency ANI on condition of anonymity, an official at the President’s Office confirmed that it was found that Podell had a lung infection and his oxygen level had dropped in Monday’s follow-up.
An official said, “He fainted earlier in the morning and was rushed to the hospital. He is now at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital- Maharajganj. Doctors are examining him. Yesterday’s tests revealed that he has a lung infection.” ” Confirmed in the President’s Office.

Paudel was treated for four days
Earlier this month, Nepal’s President Paudel was discharged from the hospital after four days of treatment. President Paudel was admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj on 5 April after undergoing treatment for four days in Kathmandu.
Poudel complained of stomach ache
According to the official statement issued by the hospital, Paudel complained of abdominal pain, after which he was brought to the hospital. Two weeks before that, senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel was sworn in as the President of Nepal.
It should be mentioned here that according to the Election Commission of Nepal, Paudel secured 33,802 electoral votes while his rival Subhash Chandra Nembwang secured 15,518 electoral votes.
