Jacqueline Fernandez and Neil Nitin Mukesh team up for their next
Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jacqueline Fernandez will soon be seen sharing the screen space together in G.O.A.T.
Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set make a comeback in the entertainment space. The actor is all set to make his web series debut for an upcoming OTT show titled G.O.A.T. The series, touted to be a musical will also star Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. Reportedly, the series would be featuring rivalry between Jacqueline and Neil and that both would be at loggerheads.
A source close to the development revealed to Hindustan Times that, “Jacqueline plays a dance mentor in the show while Neil plays a music mentor to kids, and the two are shown always at loggerheads. The show will revolve around their rivalry. It is a musical and will feature an ensemble cast, including actors Siddharth Nigam and Sumedh Mudgalkar.”
The source further added, “While Jacqueliene is an amazing dancer, Neil comes from a musical legacy. He knows how to play the piano and this is the first time he is getting the chance to honour his musical heritage on screen. This has been the character closest to reality for Neil and he is loving to bring out the musical side of him out for the show.”
On a closing note, it added, “The team is exploring the city in a unique way and the audience will get to see the city in a new light through the show.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline has a series of films in her kitty. On the acting front, she is preparing for her role in Welcome to the Jungle. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome 3 boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, and Yashpal Sharma.
