New Delhi: With her upcoming film, Vidya Balan, who is known for mesmerizing the audience with her incredible acting chops and bravery, is all set to weave her magic on the big screen once again. Actress and director of Shakuntala Devi Anu Menon has reunited for the upcoming film ‘Niyat’. The film will be released in theaters on July 7. With the teaser, the makers created interest ahead of the release.

On Wednesday, June 21, Vidya Balan took to Instagram to reveal an interesting teaser from her next film, Neet. The video presents the first glimpse of the traditional murder mystery in which the actress will play the role of investigator Meera Rao.
Other notable actors in the film include Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, Shahana Goswami, Nikki Walia, Dipannita Sharma, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, Danesh Razvi, Ishika Mehra and Madhav Deval.
Sharing the teaser, Vidya wrote, “A world of secrets and motives will be revealed, stay tuned… #Niyat Releasing on 7th July, only in theatres.” The teaser begins with a voice-over saying, “Suspects are coming, motives are happening, get ready guys, a mystery is coming.”
The film is produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and co-produced by Prime Video. It tells the story of an unconventional detective who investigates inexplicable murders at a billionaire’s party where nothing is as it seems and all the suspects hide a secret or two. Menon collaborated with Priya Venkataraman, Advaita Kala and Girvani Dhyani on the screenplay. The dialogues were written by Kausar Munir.
