In the pictures, Neetu was seen wearing a white blouse and a pair of beige pants, while Soni was seen wearing a black shirt over an animal-printed outfit. Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was also seen with him.
The pictures were shared by Neetu, Soni and Riddhima on their respective social media handles and the three ladies confessed that they missed Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Shaheen Bhatt at the gathering.
It is no secret that Kapoor and Bhatt have become close since Alia and Ranbir started dating. Soni and Neetu are often seen spending time with each other and their actor kids. Ranbir has joined Alia’s family on several occasions, including at her grandfather’s birthday party a few months back. Alia, on the other hand, has attended Kapoor family gatherings on several occasions. She was also by the side of Neetu, Riddhima and Ranbir when Rishi Kapoor died.
Rumors have been suggesting for a long time that Alia and Ranbir will tie the knot. In 2020, Ranbir even confessed to former journalist Rajeev Masand that if this pandemic had not happened, the couple would have tied the knot. Recently, speculations are rife that Alia and Ranbir will finally get married this year. Alia was asked about the rumours during the promotions and gave a vague response.
“Whoever is spreading these rumours has become like the boy who cried to the wolf. They are crying so often that in fact when I am about to get married, people will think it is a rumor and it will be great for me because no one will know,” she told Film Companion last month.
