NEET and Counseling 2021: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will soon release the schedule of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 counseling on its official website. After the commencement of counselling, candidates who qualify the NEET-UG 2021 exam will be able to apply for NEET UG counseling 2021 by visiting the official website of the committee, mcc.nic.in.
National Testing Agency (NTA) had declared the results of NEET-UG 2021 exam on its official website on November 1, 2021. This year, the cut-off for NEET-UG 2021 has come down from 720-147 in 2020 to 720-138 in 2021 for unreserved category candidates. NEET cut-off has also gone down for the candidates belonging to the reserved category. From 146-113 in 2020 to 137-108 in 2021.
As per the NDTV report, the cut-off for NEET 2021 for unreserved candidates in percentile-wise is 50th, while it is 40th for reserved candidates.
Last year, 7,71,500 students qualified for NEET UG counseling 2020.
This year around 83,075 seats for MBBS, 26,949 for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 603 for BVSC will be filled through NEET counseling 2021 this year. This year admission to B.Sc Nursing will be done through NEET score.
Qualified candidates will be called for NEET UG Counseling 2021.
How to apply after NEET-UG counseling 2021 starts:
- Go to official website mcc.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link which reads “UG Medical Counselling”
- Click on the link which reads “New Registration”
- Enter the required credentials
- Pay Online Registration Fee
- Select the college options where the candidate wants to take admission
- Download the NEET UG Counseling 2021 registration slip and take a printout of it for future reference.

NEET-UG 2021 exam was conducted on September 12, 2021 at various centers spread across the country. This year 16.14 lakh candidates had registered for the NEET-UG 2021 exam. Of these, 95 per cent candidates had appeared in the medical entrance examination.
