Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh said that Dr Osama, a native of Mau district, who appeared in the MBBS final year examination at KGMU Lucknow this year, used to find candidates on behalf of the Patna-based solver gang.
“This gang used to take contracts to send impersonators to appear in entrance exams. If a candidate qualifies for the exam, the gang charges anything from Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh from the candidate.

“Police have recovered 15 admit cards, four photographs of candidates, four courier receipts, two mobile phones with chatting gang members, details of money transactions and other items,” he said.
“Both the persons arrested on Tuesday have disclosed the names of their gang members belonging to UP, Bihar and other states. Several police teams have been formed to nab the gang leader along with other members,” he informed TOI.
On Sunday, the Crime Branch team raided the NEET examination center at St. Francis Xavier’s School in Sona Talab area of ​​Sarnath police station area and caught Julie Kumari, who was taking the examination in the name of Heena Biswas.
