Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has once again extended the cut-off date for completion of internship National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2023 candidates. The internship deadline has been extended from June 30 to August 11. Earlier it was 31 March.
The registration process has also been reopened. “Accordingly, the interested candidates who are completing their internship during 01.07.2023 to 11.08.2023 and fulfill all other criteria prescribed in the Information Bulletin of NEET-PG 2023 may appear for NEET-PG 2023 on 09.02.2023 (after 3PM) can apply. to 12.02.2023 (up to 11:55 PM). Applications can be submitted at NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in,” reads the official notice.
As per the official notification released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NEET PG 2023 will be conducted on March 5 and the admit card will be issued on February 27. NEET PG 2023 result will be released around March 31, and the counseling process will start in July 2023.
The health ministry had earlier cautioned medical aspirants against a fake public notice being circulated on social media regarding the revised date of NEET PG 2023. MoHFW clarified that the exam has not been postponed and will be conducted as per the original schedule. The fake notice, dated February 6, said that the NEET PG 2023 exam has been shifted to May 21.
The health ministry in a tweet confirmed that the notice being circulated is false and advised people not to share such fake messages. “This message is circulating on some social media platforms regarding rescheduling of NEET-PG 2023 exam. The message is #FAKE. be careful. Do not share such fake messages with others,” the message reads.
The fake circular claimed that the date of NEET PG 2023 exam was revised to May 21. It was also mentioned in the notice that the dates for online application, form submission and issue of admit cards were rescheduled.
NEET PG is conducted every year for students seeking admission to Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and PG Diploma programs in government or private medical colleges in India.
