MCC’s notice states that all the state authorities have been advised to conclude the state counseling on the same date on which the AIQ counseling for NEET PG 2022 took place.
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for admission against NEET PG state quota counselling. The last date for admission and counseling for state quota seats is now January 14.
MCC has issued an important notice to the State Authorities conducting National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG Counseling 2022, stating that all the State Authorities are advised to conclude the State Counseling on the same date, The day AIQ counseling for NEET PG 2022 took place.
As per the schedule of NEET PG 2022 Counseling Special Stray Vacancy Round, last date of reporting for all India Quota, AIQ seats is January 14, 2023. Hence, MCC has asked the state authorities to adhere to the same date and conclude the state NEET PG counseling by then.
MCC will also conduct a special Stray Vacancy round for vacant PG seats including MD, MS, Diploma, PG DNB and MDS programs of All India Quota, Central University, Central Institute, Deemed University and PG DNB in an online mode.

“The Medical Counseling Committee is receiving representations from several states regarding extension of last date of admission for PG counseling 2022-23, the competent authorities have decided that the timelines for AIQ counseling and state counseling should be same. Therefore, all the state counseling authorities are informed that the last date of admission/ counseling for state quota is extended up to 14.01.2023,” said a statement from MCC.
Meanwhile, MCC will declare the NEET PG Counseling 2022 Special Stray Vacancy Round Allotment Result today, January 10, 2023. The official website – mcc.nic.in will provide the NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Seat Allotment Result. Candidates can check and download the NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Round Allotment Result by using their NEET PG Roll Number, Password and Security Pin. However, the result will be provisional. After the release of NEET PG Provisional Seat Allotment 2022, candidates can raise objections. If valid, the officials will reconsider the allotment and announce the final seat allotment for the special stray vacancy round.
