LUCKNOW: The state government on Wednesday claimed that the deadly novel coronavirus has now been eradicated from nearly 50% of UP with 37 districts in the state. active case count Uttar Pradesh Now less than 150, while 15% of the state’s total population has been fully vaccinated.

The districts to have become Covid free in the state include Amethi, Amroha, Baghpat, Ballia, Balrampur, Basti, Bhadohi, Deoria, Etah, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj , Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur-Kheri.
There is not a single patient of Covid left in Lalitpur, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mathura, Mau, Muzaffarnagar, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Rampur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Shravasti, Sitapur, Unnao, Sultanpur and Varanasi, all of which, it was claimed , indicates complete elimination of the disease from close to half of Uttar Pradesh.
