Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa were arrested after the NCB raided their Andheri house on November 21 last year on charges of possession of marijuana and consuming drugs in small quantities. Now the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has said that the magisterial court’s order granting bail to Bharti and her husband in the drugs case is setting a “dangerous signal in the society”.

According to reports, the NCB on Thursday (September 23) told a sessions court in Mumbai that the decision “has sent an alarming signal in the society that high profile criminals are easily spared at the cost of divinely established principles, without hearing the prosecution.” May go. “.

After the November 21 arrest, the couple had moved the court for bail on November 22 and a magistrate after the public prosecutor representing the NCB and the investigating agency failed to appear before the court to make submissions on the bail pleas. The court had approved it. They had to deposit a security deposit of Rs 15,000 each.

Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa have worked together in several television shows. Last year, the duo produced a comedy series under their banner H3 Entertainment titled Funhit to continue. The production company was started by Harsh and Bharti in 2017. Released in Funhit, it aired on SAB TV channel from 22 August to 30 January. Reportedly, SAB TV has now closed the second season of the show.

According to a report in Times of India, the channel does not want Bharti and Harsh to produce 2 released in Funhit. Harsh said, “We got a call from the channel saying that they had budget issues.”

Harsh confirmed that the shooting had not started. “The second lockdown happened when we were about to start shooting. Then it all came to a halt.”

Bharti Singh and Harsh were all set to start shooting after Daman was finalized as the location, but things did not go ahead. “That was when we got that call from the channel. We look forward to working with the same channel again. We understand that the present times are tough,” Harsh said.

The report mentions that SAB TV’s AVP Kanika Dua declined to comment on the development.
