Nayanthara confirms engagement with beau Vignesh Shivani
South actress Nayanthara is ready for the release of her upcoming film Netrikan these days. The actress recently appeared on a chat show to promote her film and confirmed that she has got engaged to her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan. Earlier, pictures of her engagement ring went viral while the actress kept quiet. Now, she has finally confirmed it.
The channel shared a promo video in which host Divyadarshi asked Nayanthara about her ring and the actress confirmed her engagement. “It’s an engagement ring,” the actress told the host, showing a lively smile. The host also asked what he liked about Vignesh. To this the actress replied, “Everything.”
Earlier in March, Vignesh shared a picture on Instagram which fueled their engagement rumours. In the post, the hand of the actors was seen resting on Shivan’s chest. She was wearing a gold band on her engagement finger along with the caption, “Virlodu uyir kuda korthu…. (sic)” with a bundle of hearts. The word roughly translates to English- “tie my lifeline to my fingers.”
Nayanthara and Vignesh have been together since 2015 and their social media is flooded with cute pictures of them together. They met on the sets of ‘Nanum Rowdidhan’ and were hit by Cupid. Rumors of their marriage spread all the time but neither of them has ever disclosed about their plans.
On the work front, Nayanthara will next be seen in “Netrikan”, “Mukuthi Amman”, “Annathe” and “Kathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal”.
