Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up about social media scrutiny around his personal life.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya’s marital journey has been a topic of much discussion. Despite facing various challenges, the couple has now come together again, showcasing their resilience. Nawaz has openly shared his perspective on marriage, highlighting his thoughts on the subject. When questioned about the effects of social media scrutiny on his life, Nawaz mentioned that he has learned to navigate it, gradually adapting to the spotlight.

In a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Siddiqui addressed the ongoing social media scrutiny focused on his personal affairs. Despite facing judgment over the ups and downs in his marriage with his wife and fellow actor Aaliya, Siddiqui confidently asserted that he is unperturbed by the online noise, “Aadi ho chuki hain hum toh iss cheez ki, earlier, I used to feel sad, but not anymore because everything on social media is false(I am now accustomed to this, previously it affected me emotionally, but now I have realized that most things on social media are fabricated),” he remarked.

According to the Sacred Games star, social media often distorts reality, crafting false personas that deviate from the truth. He emphasized, “Agar social media ek image bana raha hain ki yeh insaan aisa hain and aap uspar vishwaas karahe ho, toh aap bahut bade dhokhe main ho” (If social media creates an image of a person and you believe in it, you are deceiving yourself).”

Siddiqui shared his experience of realizing the disparity between online perceptions of actors and their true personalities upon meeting them in person. He acknowledged the existence of goodness in the world, emphasizing that amidst challenges, there are individuals who make a positive impact and contribute to bettering the world. Siddiqui expressed his appreciation for those who stood by him without delving into his personal struggles during difficult times.

Following multiple separations, Nawaz and Aaliya reunited in March 2024, marking a new chapter in their relationship. Despite Aaliya’s past divorce filing, the couple marked their 14th wedding anniversary together recently.

In a statement to ETimes, Aaliya revealed that their marital discord, initially sparked by external factors, had been resolved. She credited the reconciliation to their children, especially their daughter Shora, whom Nawaz shares a strong bond with.
