Navjot Singh Sidhu expresses his love for Pakistan, says ‘Imran Khan is my elder brother’

Navjot Singh Sidhu on Imran: Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has once again shown his love for Pakistan. Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has described Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan as his brother, who took care of him. Imran Khan had also recently praised Navjot Singh Sidhu for showing support for the Kartarpur Corridor.

Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the check post of Kartarpur Corridor at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur on Saturday to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, Pakistan. The Congress party had sent a list of 50 people to the central government. These people were divided into three groups for their journey to Kartarpur Sahib. Earlier, state Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi along with two cabinet ministers Manpreet Badal and Vijay Inder Singla and some MLAs had gone to offer prayers at the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.

It may be recalled that the Imran Khan government of Pakistan had previously praised cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu for his role in opening the corridor to the Sikh pilgrimage site Kartarpur Sahib. Imran Khan and Sidhu’s relationship made headlines in 2018 when Sidhu had come to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The two leaders have always acknowledged their friendship with each other.
