BREAKING: Navjot Singh Sidhu becomes president of Punjab Congress unit
Breaking news: Navjot Singh Sidhu appointed on Sunday President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee despite heavy opposition from Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
Sangat Singh Gilzian, Sukhwinder Singh Daini, Pawan Goyal, Kuljit Singh Nagra have been made working presidents of the state unit.
“The Congress President has appointed Navjot Singh Sidhu as the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect. The Congress President has also appointed the following persons as the Working President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee: Sangat Singh Giljian, Sukhwinder Singh Dani, Pawan Goyal, Kuljit Singh Nagra,” the official release read.
