Sofia: The United States has agreed to provide a Stryker mechanized infantry company Bulgariaunder the battle group of natoBulgarian Prime Minister Kirillo, campaigning to strengthen his eastern flank after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine Friday Said on Saturday.

“I wanted to underline the importance of the declaration that Bulgaria has established and is leading a NATO multinational warfare group. This is an important step and we fully support it,” Austin said.
Petkov said Bulgaria would continue to send humanitarian aid to Ukraine and take Ukrainian refugees from the war, but that he was not considering sending any weapons to Kyiv for some time because his Black Sea country was too close to conflict.
