Nationwide demonstration in 68 lobbies against giving trolley bags to running staff – Rail Hunt

There is a lot of resentment among the employees about closing the line boxes of running employees and replacing them with trolley bags and provision of five thousand rupees for three years. Against this order of the Railway Board, on April 8, a nationwide protest was organized and registered its protest. Running railway workers have protested this by demonstrating in more than 300 lobbies of 68 railway divisions of the country.

The Railway Board has issued a letter and ordered to close the boxes being given to the running employees so far and to be given trolley bags in their place. Employees have also been given the option to buy trolley bags themselves. For which there will be a provision of giving five thousand rupees to the running employees for three years. Railway workers say that the running employees who have a lot of their own belongings and who stay out of their homes for two-two, three-three days.

After that, it is unfair to order the railway safety equipment to be carried in the trolley by the board. will oppose it. This was initiated by the Railways in 2007 but the plan was postponed after protests. Railway workers say that the railways is creating resentment without any reason. Protest demonstrations were held in all the lobbies of the country.

Protests were held in Dangwaposi, Jaruli, Rourkela, Adityapur, Bandamunda, Jharsuguda etc. of Chakradharpur Railway Division. Mukesh Kumar, Rajiv Ranjan, AK Mandal, RK Singh, Amit Kumar, VK Bhatriya, VRK Soni, Satish Kumar, Nitesh Kumar, BK Pandit etc. participated in the demonstration at Adityapur station.
