Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on Monday on a two-day visit and inaugurated the first phase of Kashi Vishwanath Dham built at a cost of around Rs 339 crore.

On the first day of the visit, the PM launched the first phase of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, which connects two iconic sites of Varanasi – the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Ganga Ghats. He also took a dip in the river Ganges and offered prayers at the Kaal Bhairav ​​temple.

The Prime Minister will attend the 98th anniversary celebrations of Sadhguru Sadafaldev Vihangam Yoga Sansthan at Swarveda Mahamandir in the city at 3.30 pm on Tuesday.

He could also visit Swarved Mahamandir Dham, a major center of Vihangam Yoga and Meditation in Varanasi. He will return to Delhi in the evening.
