Narayana Murthy Trolled Again For Remarks On Strict Parenting News24 –

Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy faces backlash again from netizens for his comments on disciplined parenting, following his 70-hour-work remark. Recently, at the launch of Paul Hewitt’s ‘Conceptual Physics’ in Bengaluru, Murthy criticized parents for watching movies over disciplining their children. He made candid remarks at the event, claiming that it undermines children’s focus on studies.

Murthy was quoted by Times of India, stating, “If parents are watching movies and asking children to study, then it won’t work.” His latest remarks came in response to a question about how students can stay attentive in today’s world, considering the abundance of distractions.

He further described his family’s strict schedule related to studies. No TV from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, this time is dedicated to only reading and studying, with a similar schedule post dinner from 9.00 pm to 11 pm, he added.

However, Murthy’s candid remarks have sparked backlash by social media users. Critics have questioned Murthy’s tight schedule, alleging how individuals can maintain a balance between work and family with long work hours.
