Vadodara: Two employees of a chemical company Nandesari GIDC was found dead in suspicious condition at the company’s plant in the early hours of Sunday. Police suspect that the two, identified as Bhavesh Shah (45) and Alpesh Padhiyar (24), may have died due to the gas leak.
According to the police, Shah and Padhiyar were found unconscious at around 3.18 am at the plant located at GIDC Estate in Nandesari. Both the laborers were taken to the private hospital ChhaniBut the doctors declared him dead even before the admission.
“We are waiting for the post-mortem report to know the exact cause of death, but it is suspected that they might have leaked some poisonous gas,” a police officer said.
