Talking about Veera Simha Reddy, the film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, has so far earned around Rs 42.40 crore. News18 rated the film 3 out of 5. An excerpt from the film review reads, “Power-packed dialogues and high-octane action sequences are the highlights of this film. Nevertheless, there are flaws in the story, including the under-utilisation of comedians like Brahmanandam and Ali. Apart from the lack of comic sequences, the director seems to have relied on a clichéd story devoid of any interesting elements.

Apart from Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shruti Haasan, Duniya Vijay, Honey Rose and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar also form a prominent part of the cast in Veera Simha Reddy. The action drama is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and S Thaman has composed the music.
