Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya Bangaraju, which hit the theaters on January 14, had a great opening at the box office. After breaking several records, the Kalyan Krishna directorial, which also starred Kriti Shetty, now seems to be struggling in Nizam’s territory.
Bangaraju managed to attract cine-goers on Makar Sankranti when various big budget films decided to postpone their releases due to the third wave of Covid-19. The father-son duo has done well in Andhra Pradesh but not as much in Telangana. According to the reports, the film has not even crossed Rs 7 crore in the Nizam area.
Despite the holidays, there was very little crowd in Bangaraju. The Twitter handle of T2BLive.COM shared the film’s earnings in the Nizam region.
The film grossed around Rs 26 lakh on Day 14 in Telugu states, while overseas and rest of India earned Rs 28 lakh.

Bangaraju had a business of Rs 38.15 crore before its release, and now it needs another Rs 2 crore to be in the safe zone. The film has made a profit in Andhra Pradesh, but it is far from the break-even point in Nizam.
Naga Chaitanya has managed to impress the audience with his performance in the film. The actor is currently busy shooting for Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, which is slated to release in April 2022.
