Naga Chaitanya has given a shocking statement regarding Telugu director Parasuram.
Naga Chaitanya reacted strongly during an interaction when he was asked about director Parasuram.
Tollywood director Parasuram’s collaboration with Naga Chaitanya was confirmed long ago, but the director opted to direct Sarkaru Var Paata with Mahesh Babu first and the project got delayed. Subsequent reports suggested that Parasuram has started working on his next film with Naga Chaitanya, although no official confirmation was made about the project. It was also reported that Chai was not happy with the script so he suggested some changes. Eventually, that project went on the shelf.
During an interview with Telugu channel Great Andhra, the Lal Singh Chadha actor made some shocking statements when the interviewer asked him about Parasuram. Refusing to entertain the topic, Naga Chaitanya said, “Talking about director Parasuram is a waste of time. He wasted my time, I don’t even like talking about this topic.”
For Naga Chaitanya, the 2021 film Love Story has enjoyed success after the second wave of Covid has faded. Last year he made a film with his father Nagarjuna. Sankranthi Uphaar was titled Bangaraju, and it performed decently at the box office, and Naga Chaitanya scored a hat-trick with the back-to-back success of Majili, Love Story and Bangaraju. Earlier Venky Mama was also successful. All combined revealed that Naga Chaitanya had enjoyed four back-to-back hits.
Apart from this, Naga Chaitanya was also in discussion about his elder Bollywood Debut in Laal Singh Chaddha, a remake of Forrest Gump starring Aamir Khan.
Chaitanya will be seen in custody on the work front. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Custody also stars Kriti Shetty, Arvind Swamy and Priyamani in key roles.
